Partner terms for hotels

The rules of the partnership between MinibarClub and participating hotels.

Last updated: October 2026

This English version is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancies, the German version shall prevail.

Scope

These partner terms govern the partnership between MinibarClub.com (“MinibarClub”) and hotels participating in the programme (“partner hotels”). Together with the partner agreement (the partner hotel’s order and MinibarClub’s confirmation) they form the contract. Deviating terms of the partner hotel do not apply.

Conclusion of contract

The partner hotel can order the partnership online via the order form on minibarclub.com. By submitting the order and confirming it via the link sent by email, it makes a binding offer. The contract is only concluded once MinibarClub confirms the order by email; with the confirmation, the partner hotel receives the partner agreement as a PDF. MinibarClub may decline orders without giving reasons. The person placing the order confirms that they are authorised to conclude the contract on behalf of the partner hotel. A contract can also be concluded in writing or by email.

MinibarClub services

MinibarClub is not a booking channel and receives no commission on bookings. No particular booking result is owed.

Benefits

Content and rights

The partner hotel ensures that it holds all rights to the texts, images and trademarks provided and grants MinibarClub, for the duration of the partnership, a simple, free-of-charge right to use them to present the hotel on minibarclub.com and in the club’s communication. It indemnifies MinibarClub against third-party claims arising from infringements by this content.

Data protection

For the partnership, the partner hotel receives the name, member ID and stay details of members who add a stay with it. The partner hotel processes this data as an independent controller solely to grant the benefits and within the scope of the accommodation contract, and complies with data protection law. Dashboard access and confirmation links must be treated confidentially.

Fees

Participation is commission-free: MinibarClub receives no commission on bookings. For the partnership, the partner hotel pays an annual marketing fee in the amount stated in the partner agreement; the same applies to a premium partnership and booked Spotlight months. All amounts are net, plus statutory VAT where applicable. MinibarClub invoices the marketing fee in advance for each contract year; it is payable within the period stated on the invoice.

The partner hotel must also offer at least two benefits to members who book directly with the partner hotel.

Free partnership by invitation

MinibarClub may invite selected hotels to a free partnership. The number of places is limited. Hotels that register via the invitation link on minibarclub.com take part as long as places are available. The contract is concluded as soon as the hotel confirms its registration via the confirmation link in the email. Invited hotels pay no marketing fee for the entire duration of the partnership. A change to a paid partnership only takes place with the hotel's express consent. Premium and Spotlight can be booked in addition at the prices applicable at the time.

By way of derogation from the section “Activation, term and termination”, the hotel may end the free partnership at any time without notice (email is sufficient); MinibarClub may end it with three months' notice to the end of a month. In all other respects these partner terms apply unchanged, in particular the obligation to offer at least two benefits. The free partnership applies to the registered hotel and is not transferable.

Activation, term and termination

The partner hotel is activated after review by MinibarClub once its profile and at least two benefits are complete in both languages. The partnership is concluded for an indefinite period. It runs for one year from activation at a time and is automatically extended by a further year unless either party terminates it in writing (email is sufficient) at least three months before the end of the current contract year. Benefits confirmed until the end of the partnership must be granted. The right to terminate for good cause, in particular in the event of repeated failure to grant confirmed benefits, remains unaffected.

Liability

MinibarClub is only liable for intent and gross negligence; liability for lost profits and consequential damage is excluded to the extent permitted by law. The partner hotel is solely responsible for granting benefits and for hotel services to guests.

Final provisions

Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is Vienna. Changes to these partner terms will be communicated to the partner hotel by email at least four weeks before they take effect; if it does not object, they are deemed accepted.
